Fiery Furnace Hikes at Arches National Park - Guided hikes through the maze of fins and canyons known as the Fiery Furnace are offered twice daily. Reservations and tickets for these popular, moderately strenuous and exciting walks must be made only at the Arches Visitor Center, no more than seven days in advance and for groups no larger than ten people. Larger groups may request a special tour, which will be scheduled if staff is available. Fees are $10 for adults and $5 for children 7-12 years of age and $5 for holders of Golden Age Passport; children six and under are free.
Stargazing - The national parks and monuments of southeastern Utah have long been popular destinations for travelers. In addition to their stunning landscapes and rich cultural history, these areas share another resource: some of the darkest skies remaining in the contiguous 48 United States. A moonless night spent under the stars in southeastern Utah will amaze visitors with the volume of stars visible to the naked eye.
